Current Washington Commanders linebacker Von Miller recently offered his opinion on the ongoing debate about who is the greatest quarterback of all time. Speaking on the Glory Daze podcast, Miller was asked to choose between former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his main rival, Peyton Manning.
Ultimately, Miller selected Manning, who played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. Miller said, “Obviously, there’s gonna be a debate between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, who was the best. For me, it’ll always be Peyton Manning. He changed the quarterback position [in terms of] changing the play. He wasn’t scrambling or doing none of that stuff. He did it all with his arm, and it was beautiful, man.”
Miller won a Super Bowl alongside Manning in Denver, which may have influenced his choice in this discussion that continues among players and fans alike.
