Troy Aikman, a retired NFL player and Hall of Famer, recently discussed his time in Montecito, California, where he owns a summer home. Despite being neighbors with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Aikman has yet to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In an interview with Us Weekly, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback said, “I haven’t run into them,” adding humorously, “But they are there, from what I can gather. I think anyone with a heartbeat knows that they’re out there. But I’m not hanging with them, that’s for sure.”

Aikman also commented on their potential drinking preferences: “I don’t think they’re drinking much light beer.” While promoting his EIGHT Elite Light Beer line, Aikman spoke about maintaining his health while enjoying beer. He said, “I’m more mindful of what I’m eating and what I’m consuming,” emphasizing his focus on health and wellness by avoiding processed foods.

The former athlete is known for leading the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories in the 1990s and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
