The Los Angeles Rams have seen several notable quarterbacks shape their history in the National Football League. A recent ranking highlights the top five quarterbacks who have had significant impact on the franchise through their performance, accomplishments, and contributions to team legacy.

Jim Everett is recognized as one of the franchise’s prominent quarterbacks despite not securing an MVP or Super Bowl during his time with the team. He remains the Rams’ all-time leader in passing yards and ranks second in touchdowns, amassing nearly 24,000 passing yards.

Roman Gabriel stands out for his strong play during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Gabriel was named league MVP in 1969, led the league in passing touchdowns twice, participated in four Pro Bowls, and holds the record for most career wins by a Rams quarterback with seventy-four victories.

Matthew Stafford‘s arrival to Los Angeles added immediate results. In his first season with the team, Stafford led the Rams to a championship win at Super Bowl LVI and played key roles throughout that postseason run. He continues to contribute to the franchise’s ongoing success.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee Norm Van Brocklin is acknowledged for helping secure a championship for the Rams in 1951 and setting an NFL single-game passing record of 554 yards. His career includes nine Pro Bowl selections and recognition as one of football’s leading quarterbacks during his era.

Kurt Warner tops this ranking following a brief yet impactful period with the Rams. Warner won an NFL MVP award during the 1999 season and was instrumental in delivering a Super Bowl title to Los Angeles in 2000. He led one of football’s highest-scoring offenses and made a rapid ascent from undrafted backup to Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee, establishing his status as perhaps the most influential quarterback in team history.

The article recognizes these athletes for their varied contributions which collectively define much of Los Angeles Rams’ legacy at quarterback.
