Don Bosco Anthony Boselli Jr. was born on April 17, 1972, in Modesto, California. He emerged as one of the most prominent players in NFL history. Boselli played college football at the University of Southern California, where he received several honors, including the Morris Trophy in 1994. In 1995, he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the second overall pick, becoming the franchise’s first-ever draft choice. During seven seasons with the Jaguars, Boselli became one of the team’s most successful and beloved players, earning five Pro Bowl selections and three first-team All-Pro honors. In 2002, the Houston Texans drafted him, but he retired shortly after due to injuries. Following his football career, Boselli pursued business investments and philanthropy. In 2022, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, marking the first time a Jaguars player received this honor. Boselli remains active in his community through business ventures and charitable efforts. Throughout his Hall of Fame career, Boselli played in 91 games as an offensive tackle.
