Three University of North Carolina football players have earned spots on the Senior Bowl Top 300 list, an annual ranking of National Football League Draft-eligible talent. Defensive backs Marcus Allen and Thaddeus Dixon, as well as offensive tackle Daniel King, were selected for this recognition.
Marcus Allen has started every game for North Carolina over the past two seasons and is one of the few returning defensive starters. Over his first three years with the Tar Heels, Allen has recorded 101 tackles (72 solo), 17 pass deflections, three interceptions, and 2.5 tackles for loss.
Thaddeus Dixon transferred to Chapel Hill after playing at Washington in 2023 and 2024. Dixon started 12 out of 28 games for the Huskies, including participation in the 2024 National Championship game against Michigan. His statistics include 69 tackles (46 solo), 16 passes deflected, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.
Daniel King is a redshirt senior who played his first three seasons at Troy University. King was honored with All-Sun Belt Conference selections in both 2023 and 2024 and contributed to Troy’s Sun Belt Championship in 2023.
The three players are expected to play key roles during Bill Belichick’s first season as a college head coach at North Carolina.
