Terry Bradshaw, a prominent figure in sports broadcasting and former NFL quarterback, has announced a new business venture amid ongoing speculation about his future with FOX. Known for his candid nature, Bradshaw made headlines with his unconventional dessert preferences on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” stating, “Meat? Ugh… I like peaches. Real pie. Not meat pie.” He added, “See, I like it cold. I don’t like hot pie.”
At 76 years old, Bradshaw is exploring new opportunities while rumors of his retirement from FOX circulate due to health issues. He is launching products such as Bradshaw Bourbon and The Bradshaw Family Cookbook. QVC announced the cookbook’s release on Instagram: “Celebrate the tradition of food, family, and football with recipes straight from the kitchens of beloved sports personality @official_terry_bradshaw and his family.”
Bradshaw’s cooking endeavor reflects values showcased in “The Bradshaw Bunch,” a reality TV series that aired from 2020 to 2022. The show highlighted his close relationship with wife Tammy Bradshaw, daughters Rachel Bradshaw and Lacey Hester, and son-in-law Noah Hester. The cookbook includes recipes inspired by family matriarchs like Bradshaw’s grandmother “Hoodie Baby” and features dishes such as spicy pork canoes.
Noah Hester contributes to the cookbook with his expertise as CultureMap Dallas’ 2024 “Chef of the Year.” Terry credits Noah for teaching him kitchen tips like keeping chicken breasts moist.
Bradshaw has been part of FOX NFL Sunday since its inception in 1994, earning three Sports Emmy Awards during his tenure. Despite two cancer diagnoses and rheumatoid arthritis treatment fueling retirement rumors, he told FOX 32 Chicago: “I’m not retiring yet,” quoting Billy Graham: “The minute you retire is the day you start dying.” His current contract runs through the 2026 NFL season.
Bradshaw plans to continue until at least one more Super Bowl call at age 80 but acknowledges this may be nearing an end. Meanwhile, he remains active beyond broadcasting through travel across Europe and other ventures.
Terry Bradshaw’s career achievements include scoring 32 rushing touchdowns, passing for 212 touchdowns, and amassing 27,989 yards passing during his Hall of Fame career as a quarterback. He is particularly remembered for Super Bowl XIII where he threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns.
