Hall of Famer Steve Young recently discussed his views on the management of the Dallas Cowboys during an appearance with Dan Patrick. Young, a Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee and former quarterback, addressed how team owner Jerry Jones has maintained the Cowboys’ public image but also described some limitations caused by Jones’s approach.

Young said, “Jerry Jones has done a great job at maintaining the Cowboys’ image while struggling so much, but he limits a coach’s power with his presence.”

Young’s comments add to ongoing conversations about leadership dynamics within NFL teams and the influence that owners can have on coaching staff decisions and team culture.
