On Thursday, Sept. 11, the Green Bay Packers will face the Washington Commanders for their Week 2 matchup at Lambeau Field. Both teams enter the game with a record of 1-0.

Fans attending the game can purchase tickets and travel packages through official channels, and have various options to follow the action, including streaming on Prime Video and listening via WRNW-FM Milwaukee – 97.3 The Game.

The Packers have announced that halftime during this home game will feature an enshrinement recognition for Sterling Sharpe, who recently was added as a Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee. Fans are encouraged to participate in the “Unite and Wear White” theme as part of Lambeau Field’s Winter Warning game day initiative.

In addition to celebrating Sharpe’s enshrinement, former players Perry Kemp and Ron Hallstrom will appear near Lambeau Field to greet fans on Wednesday and Thursday as featured alumni guests.

Coaches and players spoke with media ahead of the matchup. Offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said: “It was a good job by everyone.” Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley addressed Micah Parsons’ role by stating: “It’s what I was hoping he would do.”

Packers special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia commented on matching the Commanders’ effort: “Team must match Commanders’ ‘energy and physical play’ Thursday night.” Head Coach Matt LaFleur discussed his defense: “Urgent and inspired Packers defense.” Quarterback Jordan Love expressed his team’s aspirations after a strong opening-week win: “The goal is to score every time.”

Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper noted about team performance: “We just got to win every snap,” while defensive lineman Micah Parsons shared his approach against Washington: “Make ’em earn every first down.”

Several updates ahead of Thursday include injury reports released on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 along with information on how fans can watch or listen to the contest across various platforms.

The Packers-Commanders game marks only the second time Green Bay will play on Thursday night in Week 2.
