London Seymour, a defensive lineman from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia, has changed his college commitment. Initially set to join Boston College, Seymour will now attend the University of Georgia. His father, Richard Seymour, is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and former New England Patriots player.
London Seymour stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 305 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 123 player at his position by 247Sports and received scholarship offers from five colleges: Boston College, Colorado, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, and Marshall. Despite originally planning to join Boston College’s Eagles, he opted for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Richard Seymour played for Georgia in the late 1990s alongside current head coach Kirby Smart. During his time there, he was an All-SEC First-Team selection and earned First-Team All-America honors in 2000.
London Seymour will enroll at Georgia in the summer before the start of the 2025 season. The Bulldogs’ class ranks second nationally behind Texas and has produced NFL talents like Travon Walker and Jalen Carter.
Richard Seymour was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022 after a career that included seven Pro Bowl selections over 12 seasons.
