Colorado‘s football team has made significant changes to its wide receiver group this offseason, adding several transfer players to the roster. Among the newcomers is Sincere Brown, who transferred from Campbell University. Brown had a productive season at Campbell, recording 1,028 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
Brown expressed his interest in Colorado before he entered the transfer portal. He stated during practice this week, “Last year, I was watching their [Colorado] games, I was watching the content they were putting out (… ) The Hall of Fame coaching staff is unbelievable. I have never seen so many gold jackets on one staff.” Both Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and are part of Deion Sanders’ coaching team, which includes others with National Football League experience.
When asked about his playing style and who he models his game after, Brown answered: “If I had to compare it to anybody I’d say Randy Moss.” Brown stands at six feet five inches tall and has demonstrated strong contested catching abilities during fall camp. However, questions remain about how he will adapt to facing stronger opponents in a power conference setting.
If Brown can replicate his performance from last season at Campbell, Colorado should see stability at the outside receiver position.
