Shannon Sharpe, Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee, is expanding his Shay Shay Media platform with a new podcast and YouTube program featuring former Pittsburgh Steelers players James Harrison and Joe Haden. The show, titled DEEBO & JOE, is set to launch Sept. 1 and will publish episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Harrison, who played as a defender for the Steelers and was named the 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, said about the new venture: “We’re not here to sugarcoat anything (…) We’re bringing fans into the locker room, into our lives and into the game in a way they’ve never experienced.”

Sharpe continues to develop his media presence following his departure from ESPN’s First Take. He currently hosts Club Shay Shay and Nightcap alongside Chad Johnson. The addition of DEEBO & JOE further strengthens his network’s offering for football fans.

Joe Haden played primarily as a cornerback for the Cleveland Browns before finishing his career with Pittsburgh. He is recognized as a three-time Pro Bowl selection.

Earlier this year, Sharpe resolved a $50 million civil lawsuit filed against him. A separate $20 million defamation case brought by an individual from Chicago against Sharpe, Johnson, and Shay Shay Media was dismissed.

The expansion of Shay Shay Media with Harrison and Haden aims to provide new perspectives on football for listeners throughout the week.
