Eric Allen, Stanford Routt, Michael Huff, and Tyvon Branch are contenders for the final defensive back position on the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders 2000s All-Quarter Century Team. The selection process is concluding with a poll to determine which of these players will secure the last spot on the defense.

The decision to open up the final position with a general defensive back designation was made to allow each player one more opportunity to be included in the team. Eric Allen’s tenure with the Raiders spanned from 2000 to 2001, during which he recorded seven interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns—a franchise single-season record. He also scored a fumble return touchdown in his second year and contributed significantly to Oakland’s playoff runs at that time.

Allen’s career includes 54 interceptions, six Pro Bowl appearances, and a Hall of Fame induction in 2025. Notably, he achieved a record-setting 94-yard interception return for a touchdown against the New York Jets in 1993.

The poll offers fans a chance to recognize Allen’s contributions alongside those of Routt, Huff, and Branch as they vote for their preferred choice for this honorary team position.
