Miami-based boutique SoleFly is preparing to release a new collaboration with Air Jordan 3, drawing attention from both sneaker enthusiasts and sports fans. The unveiling took place during the Miami Hurricanes season opener at Hard Rock Stadium on Aug. 31, where Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinees Andre Johnson, Ed Reed, and Edgerrin James attended to watch their former team face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. SoleFly co-founders Carlos Prieto and Daniel Hidalgo were also present.
The Hall of Famers showcased the SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 sneakers, marking their first public appearance in this collaboration. The design includes white leather uppers with suede overlays in University of Miami colors—green on the toe cap and orange at the heel—with further green and orange accents throughout. SoleFly’s logo is embossed on the lateral heels.
This project is SoleFly’s second use of University of Miami colors for an Air Jordan partnership, following its notable Air Jordan 1 collaboration from 2018. It is also the retailer’s second time working with the Air Jordan 3 silhouette; their previous “Lotto” colorway was released in 2014.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 will be available later this year through SoleFly’s website as well as potentially via SNKRS and select retailers. The shoe will retail for $230 USD.
