Phil Long Dealerships has announced a new partnership with the Denver Broncos, becoming the team’s official “Hometown Dealership” partner. The agreement will also make Phil Long Dealerships the presenting sponsor for the Broncos’ Salute to Service game scheduled for Nov. 16.

Kevin Shaughnessy, CEO of Phil Long Dealerships, commented on the partnership. “I’m excited about the alignment between Phil Long Dealerships and the Broncos when it comes to fan and community engagement (…)” and added, “Veterans’ causes are important to us, and partnering on the Salute to Service game is a perfect opportunity to advance that great cause and support the military and our veterans alongside the Broncos.” Shaughnessy continued, “Our dedication to excellence goes beyond the walls of our dealerships (…)” and stated further, “We are thrilled to connect our employees, customers and community in a new way that amplifies our commitment to a thriving Colorado and shines our Broncos pride in every ride we offer.”

Phil Long Dealerships traces its veteran support back to its founder Philip Long, a former Naval Hellcat pilot who opened his first dealership in Colorado Springs after World War II. In 2016, under past President Jay Cimino’s leadership, Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center began operations offering behavioral health services, career assistance, housing help, and connecting veterans with resources. The nonprofit has assisted over 38,000 clients across Colorado since opening.

Previous partnerships between Phil Long Dealerships and the Denver Broncos include collaborations with The Denver Broncos Foundation and former head coach Mike Shanahan from 1996 through 2012 that resulted in building playgrounds, skate parks, and a football field along Colorado’s Front Range.

A notable connection highlighted is Randy Gradishar—Class of 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee—who serves as Phil Long’s Corporate Ambassador after a distinguished tenure as middle linebacker for the team’s defense known as “Orange Crush.” According to information provided by Phil Long Dealerships: “Gradishar is Phil Long’s Corporate Ambassador and has served in different capacities over his 27-year tenure with the automotive group.”
