Peyton Manning, a Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee and former quarterback for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, has given a gift to members of the 2025 Tennessee football team. Manning presented the players with custom white Beats headphones featuring the T logo and checkerboard design, reminiscent of Neyland Stadium’s end zones.
In a recorded video message to the team, Manning said, “To the 2025 Tennessee Volunteers, the work you’ve put in all year has prepared you for the season ahead. Now is the time that hard work pays off. Challenge yourself and demand nothing but the best from each other. Hope these help you tune out the noise and focus on the team.”
Manning played quarterback for Tennessee from 1994 through 1997, earning honors such as SEC Player of the Year and All-American in his final season. He also won national awards including the Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien Award, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Following his college career, Manning was selected No. 1 overall by the Indianapolis Colts in 1998. His professional accomplishments include two Super Bowl titles, five league MVP awards, seven First-Team All-Pro selections, and 14 Pro Bowl appearances.
As Tennessee prepares for its upcoming season following a College Football Playoff loss to Ohio State in 2024, players will wear their new headphones as they focus on returning to national prominence.
The gift reportedly received an enthusiastic response from team members.
