The Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks were involved in several on-field altercations during their joint practice at Ray Nitschke Field in Green Bay on Thursday.
During the first incident, Packers right tackle Zach Tom reportedly threw multiple punches. Center Elgton Jenkins was among several players who ended up on the ground, and tight end Tucker Kraft was also directly involved. Both Tom and Jenkins were pulled from practice and did not participate for the remainder of the 11-on-11 periods.
A second fight broke out shortly after between the Packers’ second-team offense and the Seahawks’ second-team defense. This confrontation extended beyond the immediate practice area and ended near the north fence of Ray Nitschke Field, with more punches exchanged.
After practice concluded, tensions remained as shouting continued between players from both teams while they left the field. No additional physical altercations were observed after practice.
Both teams are scheduled to have a day off Friday before completing their preseason at Lambeau Field on Saturday.
