Larry Little was born on November 2, 1945, in Grovetown, Georgia. He later played college football at Bethune–Cookman University. He was not selected in the 1967 NFL Draft. He signed with the San Diego Chargers. In 1969, the Chargers traded him to the Miami Dolphins. He became one of the top guards in the league. He helped lead the Dolphins to three straight Super Bowl appearances. He was a starter on the 1972 team that went undefeated. He earned five Pro Bowl selections. He was named to the 1970s NFL All-Decade Team. In 1993, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He later coached at Bethune–Cookman and North Carolina Central.
