Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella Strahan, has returned to her modeling career after overcoming a cancer diagnosis and completing treatment. The 20-year-old documented her health journey over the past year, sharing moments of vulnerability and recovery on social media platforms. In November 2024, Isabella posted a TikTok video that featured her lip-syncing while bald from cancer treatment. She captioned an updated post seven months later with “7 months ago vs now,” highlighting her progress as her hair grew back.
As she resumed daily routines and activities, Isabella shared photos showing further improvement in her condition. Her recent Instagram post showed her enjoying summer nights in New York City alongside her twin sister, Sophia Strahan. The image focused attention on Isabella’s regrown long brown curly hair.
During her recovery period, Isabella restarted both college courses and modeling work. She was featured in Kenneth Cole’s “Purposeful Voices” campaign for Spring 2025 after first entering the industry through a Sephora campaign launched in January 2024 when she was 19. Shortly before the Sephora shoot, Isabella received news that she had medulloblastoma—a brain tumor—requiring a pause on school and professional commitments while she received treatment at Duke University’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center.
Isabella chronicled much of this experience through a YouTube series and an ABC special titled “Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight to Beat Cancer.” She also discussed these events during an appearance on “Good Morning America,” where she explained how sharing her story aimed to encourage others facing similar challenges.
Isabella recently partnered with Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand for the “Campus Collection” campaign along with her twin sister Sophia. Both appeared together in promotional materials for the new line. Sophia shared excitement about the project via social media posts stating, “Spent the best day on set with @skims.”
Michael Strahan commented about their involvement during his appearance on “Good Morning America”: “Very proud of my girls (…) That is the best they have gotten along I have ever seen.”
The Skims campaign was timed with back-to-school season and features loungewear targeted at college students.
Isabella’s return to modeling and continued presence in campaigns are noted as significant milestones following her medical challenges.
