Marvin Harrison, a former star wide receiver who played his entire 13-year professional football career with the Indianapolis Colts and is a Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee, is known for his success on the field and his family’s involvement in the sport. Harrison made eight Pro Bowls and led the league twice in both receiving yards and receptions, as well as tying for the lead in receiving touchdowns once during his career from 1996 to 2008.
His son Marvin Harrison Jr. followed in his footsteps, playing at Ohio State before being selected No. 4 overall by the Arizona Cardinals last year. Harrison Jr., who also attended St. Joseph’s Prep for high school, recorded 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns during his rookie season.
Another member of the Harrison family is gaining recognition. Jett Harrison, Marvin Harrison’s younger son, is a sophomore wide receiver at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jett stands six-foot-one and weighs 175 pounds. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is considered a five-star recruit and ranked as the top player in Pennsylvania for the class of 2028.
Jett had notable performances for his varsity team as a freshman last year. Social media posts highlighted some of those moments:
“@Jettharrison18, the top-ranked freshman in all of Pennsylvania. He and @foulke_charlie connect. It’s 14-0 Prep in the first.” — VicCastilloPRZ (@PRZVicCastillo) October 11, 2024 (…)
“Charlie Foulke to Jett Harrison for 97-Yards!!! @SJPrep_Football leads 24-7 with 1:17 in the half @PaFootballNews@CCHastings1863@foulke_charlie@Jettharrison18” — Noah Stomsky (@NStomsky) October 20, 2024
Jett has received scholarship offers from several universities including Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Syracuse, and Tennessee among others. With his brother’s collegiate history at Ohio State and their father’s experience at Syracuse, both schools may be contenders for Jett’s commitment.
Fans will have an opportunity to watch Jett play when St. Joseph’s Prep faces American Heritage on ESPN2.
