Marvin Harrison, a Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee known for his 13-year career with the Indianapolis Colts, is seeing another member of his family rise in the world of football. His son Jett Harrison has emerged as a promising wide receiver at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia.
Harrison’s NFL career lasted from 1996 to 2008, all with the Colts. He made eight Pro Bowls and was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He led the league in receiving yards twice and receptions twice, and tied for receiving touchdowns once.
Jett Harrison, currently a sophomore, is listed at six feet one inch tall and weighs 175 pounds. According to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, he is rated as a five-star recruit and is ranked as the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania for the class of 2028.
Jett made several notable plays as a freshman last year for his school’s varsity team. As documented on social media: “@Jettharrison18, the top-ranked freshman in all of Pennsylvania (…) He and @foulke_charlie connect. It’s 14-0 Prep in the first.” The post was shared by VicCastilloPRZ on October 11, 2024.
Another highlight came later that month: “Charlie Foulke to Jett Harrison for 97-Yards!!! @SJPrep_Football leads 24-7 with 1:17 in the half @PaFootballNews @CCHastings1863 @foulke_charlie @Jettharrison18,” reported by Noah Stomsky on October 20, 2024.
Jett has attracted scholarship offers from schools including Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Syracuse and Tennessee. Ohio State could have an advantage since Marvin Harrison Jr., Jett’s brother, played there before being selected No. 4 overall by the Arizona Cardinals following his successful college career.
Marvin Harrison Jr., after also attending St. Joseph’s Prep like his brother Jett, had a productive rookie season for Arizona with sixty-two catches for eight hundred eighty-five yards and eight touchdowns.
Fans can watch Jett Harrison when St. Joseph’s Prep faces American Heritage on ESPN2 this Friday.
