The 2025 fantasy football season is approaching, and FantasyPros analysts have published their annual draft cheat sheets to help participants prepare for draft day. The guidance includes analysis on running back and wide receiver risks, quarterback sleeper candidates, and tight end prospects for the coming season.

Among the notable names discussed is Marvin Harrison Jr., whose rookie year saw him record 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns. Analyst Fitz commented: “Marvin Harrison Jr. is coming off a disappointing rookie season in which he had 62 catches for 885 yards and 8eight touchdowns. Those aren’t bad numbers at all — certainly not by rookie standards — but was the No. 4 overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft, and he’s a prodigy, the son of former Colts great Marvin Harrison Sr. Harrison finished WWR30 in PPR fantasy scoring as a rookie, and he needed some pretty good touchdown luck to finish that high — 12.9% of his catches and 6.9% of his targets resulted in TDs. With an averaged depth of target of 13.4 yards last season, MHJ seemed miscast as a purely vertical receiver. Harrison was excellent operating in the middle of the field at Ohio State, but Cardinals QB Kyler Murray doesn’t do a lot of business in the middle of the field, possible because his smaller stature limits his vision. Will Harrison’s usage change significantly? I’m not sure, which is why I’m reluctant to bet on substantially better numbers for MHJ in Year 2.”

Other players identified as risky choices include Joe Mixon and David Montgomery among running backs, with concerns about workload sharing or injury impacting their value this year. Wide receivers Tyreek Hill and DK Metcalf were also discussed by analysts DBro and Erickson respectively, pointing to age-related efficiency decline for Hill and uncertainty about offensive volume for Metcalf.

Sleepers identified at quarterback include Drake Maye—expected to improve with better offensive support in New England—and Bryce Young, who finished strong at the end of last season.

Tight ends featured Evan Engram as an undervalued option if healthy throughout the year under Denver’s system led by Sean Payton, while Kyle Pitts remains a risky pick due to unmet expectations since his rookie campaign.

Further details on player rankings and strategies are available through FantasyPros’ online resources.
