The Mars Hill Bible Panthers are preparing for the start of a new high school football season after securing their third state title in 2024. The team defeated Houston Academy with a final score of 50-43 in the Class 3A State Championship.

Head Coach Darrell Higgins will begin his tenth season leading the Panthers. Under his leadership, Mars Hill Bible has recorded a winning record in eight out of nine previous seasons. The team achieved at least ten wins during seven of those years.

“Really dependable people that they’re gonna give everything they got for their teammates, and that’s the way it is at our school,” Higgins said.

Mars Hill Bible will open its season by hosting Madison Academy on Friday, Aug. 22.
