Local high school receivers listed ahead of 2025 football season

A group of local high school wide receivers are preparing for the 2025 football season in Pennsylvania. The list includes returning players recognized for their performances last year, with each receiver’s statistics submitted to lehighvalleylive.com.

Fifteen receivers have been highlighted as among the top in the area. They include Talon Dogmanits from Whitehall, who recorded 53 receptions for 869 yards and six touchdowns during the previous season. Southern Lehigh’s Luke Kawczenski had 50 catches, amassing 955 yards and scoring twelve touchdowns.

Other featured players are Jonathan Striba of Notre Dame-Green Pond with 50 receptions, Liberty’s Jake Pukszyn with 49 catches, and Joshua Louk from Jim Thorpe High School, who ended last season with nine touchdowns off 49 receptions and a total of 629 yards.

Additional athletes on the list come from schools including Palisades, Bethlehem Catholic, Pocono Mountain East, Northwestern Lehigh, Catasauqua, Parkland, Easton and others. Each player’s individual statistics from the previous year are detailed in the original report.

The rankings reflect performance metrics such as receptions, total receiving yards, and touchdowns. These players will be watched closely as they return to compete in what is expected to be a competitive season.
