A list of top players in the Colonial-Schuylkill League high school football programs has been released ahead of the 2025 season, highlighting notable performances from returning athletes across the region. The selections include standout quarterbacks, linemen, receivers, and versatile players who are expected to have significant impacts on their teams.

Among those recognized is Cole Lazorick of Jim Thorpe High School. Lazorick is noted as a senior quarterback and linebacker tasked with leading the Olympians back to playoff contention. In 2024, he threw for 2,059 yards and 17 touchdowns and ran for 368 yards with eight rushing touchdowns. His ability to contribute both in passing and running situations is cited as key for his team’s aspirations this year.

Other featured athletes include Logan Anthony from Palmerton, described as a Rutgers commit who brings athleticism and technical skills to both sides of the line; Matt Bodnar from Notre Dame-Green Pond, who threw over 4,000 yards last year; Mason Bollinger from Northwestern Lehigh; Manny Bolmer of Catasauqua; Austin Casal also representing Notre Dame-Green Pond; Lincoln Cook from Palisades; Lucas Croizier from Lehighton; Rory Dixon from Marian Catholic; Chris Frame from Northern Lehigh; Carter Giberson out of Southern Lehigh; Shane Hulmes and Shane Leh both representing Northwestern Lehigh; Sean Steckert of Southern Lehigh who ran for over 2,000 yards in 2024; and Jonathan Striba from Notre Dame-GP.

In addition to these primary selections based on past performances and coaches’ evaluations, another group of fifteen athletes have been identified as players to watch during the upcoming season. These include Brody Breiner (Panther Valley), Silas Day (Palisades), Terrell Estes (Pen Argyl), Caiden Faust (Pen Argyl), Ashton Fitzgerald (Palisades), Luke Frohnheiser (Tamaqua), Jacob Hillis (Bangor), J’son Johnson (Wilson), Luke Kawczenski (Southern Lehigh), Michael Lagowy (Northwestern Lehigh), Jayse Lawrence (Lehighton), Josh Louk (Jim Thorpe), Alex Moren (Salisbury), Grady Newhard (Northern Lehigh) and Braden Rohn (Saucon Valley).

The compilation emphasizes not only those with confirmed college commitments or recruiting interest but also recognizes many athletes whose main contributions are leadership qualities and dedication to their teams.
