Hallmark is preparing to release “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,” a new holiday movie that will feature several professional football players. The film, which follows the network’s previous success with “Holiday Touchdown: A Chief’s Love Story” in 2024, has finished filming but does not yet have an announced premiere date.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently spoke with USA Today Sports about the upcoming project. While Allen indicated he would not appear in the movie, he expressed support for his teammates who do have roles. He said, “I think I’ll watch it. There’s gonna be a lot of teammates in the movie. So, I know that they were nervous about it and had some lines, but I’m sure it’s going to turn out pretty good.” Allen added, “We’ll throw it on. We’ll watch it.”
Several Buffalo Bills players are set to make appearances in the film, including Joshua Palmer, DeWayne Carter, Reid Ferguson, Dawson Knox, Dion Dawkins, Ray Davis, and Damar Hamlin. The team’s head coach Sean McDermott will also be featured. Legendary Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee Jim Kelly is among those appearing as well.
The main cast includes Hallmark actors Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Tracy Pollan, Joe Pantoliano, and Patti Murin. Andrew Walker is slated to make a cameo appearance.
A sneak peek was released by the Hallmark Channel in July with additional details expected regarding the air dates as the 2025 holiday season approaches.
