The ClutchPoints article released on Aug. 20, 2025, presents rankings for the top 15 wide receivers in fantasy football for the upcoming season. The analysis focuses on player performance from the previous year and anticipates future trends based on team composition, quarterback changes, and coaching adjustments.

Ja’Marr Chase is ranked first after leading all wide receivers in the previous season with career-high statistics, including 17 touchdowns. The Cincinnati Bengals’ offense is expected to remain pass-heavy, positioning Chase for another strong season.

CeeDee Lamb follows as the second-ranked receiver despite missing two games last year. With a healthy Dak Prescott and new teammate George Pickens, the Dallas Cowboys are projected to increase their passing game emphasis.

Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings is listed third. He remains a consistent performer but faces some uncertainty due to a new starting quarterback, J.J. McCarthy.

Nico Collins is ranked fourth after achieving his first 1,000-yard season in 2023 but missing time due to injuries last year. The Houston Texans have bolstered their receiver lineup with Christian Kirk and rookie additions.

Malik Nabers holds the fifth spot following a productive rookie campaign for the New York Giants. Despite ongoing quarterback questions, Nabers’ role as a primary offensive option supports his high ranking.

Other players featured in the list include Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams), Drake London (Atlanta Falcons), Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions), Brian Thomas Jr. (Jacksonville Jaguars), A.J. Brown (Philadelphia Eagles), Ladd McConkey (Los Angeles Chargers), Marvin Harrison Jr. (Arizona Cardinals), Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks), and Tyreek Hill (Miami Dolphins).

Marvin Harrison Jr., who was enshrined as a Pro Football Hall of Famer before beginning his professional career as an Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, is placed at No. 12 in these rankings after finishing last season at No. 30 among wide receivers. The article notes: “The disconnect was obvious for most of Marvin Harrison Jr.’s rookie season, as he struggled to find a groove with Kyler Murray. Oftentimes mis-timing routes and not being ready for the ball, Harrison limped to his WR30 finish, on the heels of a strong draft-cycle push for the former Ohio State Buckeye.” It also highlights expectations of improvement: “But for Harrison, his connection with Murray seems to be improving this offseason (…) and he should find himself above the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career after a bounce-back sophomore season.”

These rankings are tailored to point-per-reception league formats in single-quarterback leagues and rely on player data from Sleeper covering performances through 2024.
