Each year, ESPN Fantasy Football managers evaluate players who may be overlooked in drafts. This season, average draft position data from ESPN highlights several players who could provide value relative to where they are being selected.
One prominent name is Marvin Harrison Jr., wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. Despite high expectations as a former No. 4 overall pick from Ohio State and a strong rookie year with 62 receptions, 885 yards, and eight touchdowns in 2024, Harrison has an ADP of 50.8. Reports have noted his offseason physical progress and his improving relationship with quarterback Kyler Murray. Expectations are that Harrison will be the primary target in the Cardinals’ offense for 2025.
As noted by PFF on August 14, 2025: “Marvin Harrison Jr is due for a big Year 2 (…)”
Other players highlighted include Tetairoa McMillan, a new wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers with an ADP of 83.4. McMillan was drafted eighth overall and is expected to be a key offensive player for quarterback Bryce Young and head coach David Canales.
Running back Tony Pollard of the Tennessee Titans is also listed as a top value at his position. In his first season with the Titans, Pollard rushed for over 1,000 yards despite challenges on offense and finished as RB21 in PPR formats last season. With Tyjae Spears sidelined during the preseason and new quarterback Cam Ward joining the team, Pollard’s prospects are considered strong.
According to B/R Gridiron on December 26, 2024: “3 straight seasons over 1K for Tony Pollard (…)”
Evan Engram, now with the Denver Broncos, enters this season after recovering from injury but previously earned Pro Bowl honors in 2023 for career highs in receptions and yardage.
Quarterback Sam Darnold of the Seattle Seahawks rounds out the list. After achieving a personal best in passing yards and touchdowns with the Minnesota Vikings last year, Darnold is available in most leagues but could bring significant value if he maintains that production level in Seattle.
The analysis identifies these five players as likely to perform above their current ADP based on recent trends and positional outlooks.
