ESPN has announced its NFL All-Quarter Century Team, which includes several notable players from the Chicago Bears. The team, curated by ESPN’s Seth Walder and Aaron Schatz, consists of 53 players and a practice squad. The selection highlights some of the best talent in the league over the past 25 years.

Among those recognized is Julius Peppers, a defensive end whose tenure with the Bears was marked by significant achievements. Peppers, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024, boasts 159.5 sacks—the highest among players on the All-Quarter Century Team—and holds the best Expected Points Added (EPA) for any defensive player on the list.

Peppers’ time with the Bears included three Pro Bowl appearances and two All-Pro honors during his four seasons with the team. Although he is often associated with his success at the Carolina Panthers, his contributions to the Bears remain noteworthy.
