Calvin Johnson participates in LIV Golf pro-am event in Michigan

Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee Calvin Johnson took part in the pro-am event held before the start of LIV Golf Team Championship Michigan at The Cardinal at Saint John’s on Aug. 21, 2025, in Plymouth, Michigan. Johnson, a former National Football League player, was among those who participated in the tournament’s prelude round.

No official statement or comment from Johnson was provided regarding his participation in this event.

The pro-am is typically held prior to major golf competitions and features athletes and other public figures alongside professional golfers.

The competition marks another appearance by Johnson in high-profile athletic events since his enshrinement into the Hall.
