The NFL is preparing to celebrate its silver anniversary season, a milestone marked by changes and challenges for the reigning champions. As part of the festivities, the league has announced its All-Quarter Century first team offense, recognizing outstanding players from the past 25 years.

Among those honored is Calvin Johnson, a wide receiver who played for the Detroit Lions. Known as “Megatron,” Johnson is considered one of the most physically gifted receivers in NFL history. Despite playing for a struggling team during his career, his impressive size and speed made him a formidable opponent on the field. Johnson retired early but left a lasting impact with 731 receptions, 11,619 yards, and 83 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.

Johnson’s selection to the first-team offense was described as an easy decision due to his exceptional talent and contributions to the game.
