Former Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers has been ranked No. 24 on the NFL’s top 100 players list ahead of the 2025 NFL season. Bowers, who plays for the Las Vegas Raiders, is entering his second year in the league and is currently listed as the highest-ranked tight end, ahead of established All-Pro players Travis Kelce and George Kittle.

During his rookie season with the Raiders, Bowers recorded 112 receptions, 1,194 receiving yards, and five touchdowns. These numbers set a new rookie record for receptions and broke Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinee Mike Ditka’s 63-year record for most receiving yards by a rookie tight end, which was set in 1963. Despite these achievements, Bowers did not win Offensive Rookie of the Year but did earn a place in the Pro Bowl and was selected as a first-team All-Pro.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle commented on Bowers’s performance: “I thoroughly enjoy watching Brock (Bowers) play,” Kittle said about Bowers.

Bowers becomes the sixth Georgia Bulldog to be included in this year’s NFL top 100 list. The others are Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (No. 100), Buffalo Bills running back James Cook (No. 89), Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (No. 59), Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter (No. 43), and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (No. 40). The rankings for the top twenty players have not yet been announced.
