Former Georgia tight end Brock Bowers has been ranked No. 24 overall on the NFL Top 100 players list for 2025, making him the highest-ranked tight end according to NFL.com. This comes after a notable rookie season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Bowers is recognized for his achievements during his college years at Georgia, where he won the John Mackey Award twice—a distinction given annually to the nation’s top tight end. He is the only player to have received the award two times. Over three seasons at Georgia, Bowers accumulated 175 receptions for 2,538 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns, along with five rushing touchdowns.
In his first professional season with Las Vegas, Bowers posted 112 receptions for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. These statistics contributed to his designation as one of the top players at his position.
Christian Gonzales wrote for NFL.com, “It was a historic rookie season for Bowers in Las Vegas (…) Whoever was under center for the Raiders, Bowers was the consistent threat in Vegas’ offense. Bowers set a new rookie record for receptions and broke Hall of Famer Mike Ditka’s 63-year-old TE record for receiving yards set in 1963. Despite not winning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, Bowers made the Pro Bowl, earned first-team All-Pro honors and now makes an appearance on the Top 100.”
The NFL season approaches with expectations high for Bowers as he continues his career.
