NFL fans have criticized Brett Favre for his response to the recent shooting in Midtown Manhattan. The incident involved Shane Tamura, who was found dead after allegedly taking his own life, leaving behind a note attributing his actions to CTE.

Favre’s statement on social media drew backlash from fans. He expressed condolences to the families affected by the shooting near NFL offices and highlighted the impact of CTE. “I know many people get tired of the CTE talk, but it’s real a real thing affecting numerous people,” Favre said. He encouraged people to watch “ConcussedFilm” for more insight into CTE.

Brett Favre, inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016, was originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991.
