Texas Tech senior quarterback Behren Morton has been named to the watch list for the 2025 Golden Arm Award. The recognition was announced by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc., which presents the award annually to a senior or upperclassman quarterback who demonstrates on-field talent, character, leadership, and is on track to graduate with their class.

This acknowledgment marks Morton’s fifth appearance on a preseason watch list ahead of his fifth season with the Red Raiders. Earlier this month, Morton was included on the Maxwell, Wuerffel, Davey O’Brien, and Manning Award watch lists.

The 2025 Golden Arm Award watch list features 58 collegiate quarterbacks from across the country. Morton is one of ten players from the Big 12 conference selected for consideration.

As the college football season progresses, semifinalists and finalists will be selected from this group. The winner will be announced in December and celebrated at an event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore.
